Be careful: public transportation in South Corsica is almost non-existing (with exceptions of few buses to the most popular beaches), so expect to drive a rental car or to take an excursion.

South Corsica Main Sights

Among the top attractions of southern Corsica, we can highlight:

  • Bonifacio – with its steep cliffs and fortress on the mountain, this is one of the most impressive and beautiful cities in France
  • Porto Vecchio – a small historical city with a citadel surrounded by the most beautiful beaches in France
