By car to Ribeauvillé
You can reach Ribeauvillé by renting a car, using your own vehicle, or ordering an Uber. An Uber ride will cost around €40 from Colmar. From Riquewihr, the fare will be only slightly less since drivers usually come from Colmar to pick you up (~ €31).
Note: Uber cars do not have child seats, and the driver may refuse to take you, yet you will still be charged for the ride. Sometimes drivers take the risk or discuss it in advance. It’s useful to carry a booster seat backpack.
Parking in Ribeauvillé
At the entrance to the town, there is a large paid parking area with toilets and a parkometer (the Colmar bus stops here as well). However, you can also find short-term free parking (within the historical center) and unlimited free parking (around the periphery of the old town). The only issue with free parking is that it’s always packed on weekends, making it almost impossible to find a spot. So, you either need to arrive early in the morning or be prepared to pay for parking (which isn’t expensive).
