Porto-Vecchio Beaches
Porto-Vecchio beaches are considered the best on the island, one might even say the best in the entire Mediterranean!!! This place is literally paradise on earth and will be the perfect place for a summer holiday. The swimming season in Porto-Vecchio lasts from June to September. In June, the water can fluctuate between 19 and 26 degrees, but the really warm water is in July and August. Although there will be no “sea like fresh milk” here – the water temperature, even in the hot months, does not exceed 26.7 degrees.
The beach at Palombaggia south of Porto-Vecchio is world famous as one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica, with other popular beaches on this stretch of coast including Santa Giulia , a little further south, Tamaricciu and other small beaches in between.
Heading north from the town, the most important beaches are Cala Rossa, then Saint-Cyprien and Pinarellu, a little further north. Saint-Cyprien and Palombaggio are popular for families with children.

To the south of the island of beauty, the numerous beaches around Porto-Vecchio are undoubtedly some of the most beautiful in Corsica! Fine sand, turquoise waters, lazing or sea activities are always here.
The beaches of Porto-Vecchio are listed in order from north to south, not by beauty. The two best beaches are Santa Giulia and Palombaggia. But the other beaches of Porto-Vecchio are also very beautiful, but perhaps less crowded.
Pinarellu beach
The unique shell shape of the beach protects it well. This long white sand beach is suitable for everyone: families with its gentle slope allowing safe swimming, and leisure lovers who will not get bored. In addition, several restaurants and other services.
Bay of Saint-Cyprien
A few kilometers away, the southern part of the beach will delight active people with a variety of activities and services, and the northern part will delight lovers of wild nature and relaxation. South of the tip of Saint-Cyprien is Cala Rossa, one of the most prestigious tourist destinations in Corsica. The perfect place for a selfie with your favorite stars?
Benedettu Beach
Easily accessible and especially suitable for families, Benedettu Beach promises a great holiday in a very pleasant environment. The attendance, reasonable even in high season, is another reason to try this beach.
Cala Verde Beach
A nice beach, even in summer. Delightful white sand. The place is ideal for relaxation, away from the crowds.
Chiappa Beach
Like many other beaches in Corsica, Chiappa has its own charm. Clear water and various water sports… something that will appeal to everyone. However, it is important to note that this is a 100% nudist beach.
Need to strip naked? Nudism is mandatory both on the beach and in the campsite that borders it. Only teenagers can make a different choice.
Palombaggia Beach
Palombaggia is one of the most famous beaches in Corsica and even in the Mediterranean. Crystal clear, warm water, a long strip of fine sand, large umbrella pines that create shade, numerous water activities: what more could you want? You will not be alone in summer, the beach is very popular…
Tamaricciu Beach
Tamaricciu Beach is worth a visit, just like its famous neighbor Palombaggia. Between its dunes and the pine trees that border it, everything is perfect for rest and relaxation. A real postcard landscape!
Folaca Beach
Also very close to Palombaggia, Folaca Beach inevitably rhymes with laid-back life and sunny days. This rather quiet place is a good alternative to the super popular Palombaggia beach.
Acciaju Beach
Clear water, fine white sand, just the way we like it, gourmet relaxation… this beach has it all. Less known than some of its neighbors, it is worth a visit and a swim!
Santa Giulia Beach
Santa Giulia Beach is very well known and therefore very crowded, especially in high season. Its crystal clear waters and clean sand will appeal to lovers of idleness, while sports enthusiasts can enjoy the various marine activities offered on the site. A real paradise!
Porto Novo Beach
It is quite difficult to access, but it is worth it to enjoy a moment on Porto Novo Beach: you will need about 30 minutes of walking to get there. Thanks to the wild air, it has largely escaped the crowds of tourists. Swimming, lounging, even hiking… there is nothing to get bored of.
A little exercise? Feel free to walk along the beach, there are beautiful paths that promise very pleasant walks.
