Parking in Calvi is free during the night (9 pm to 9 am) and during winter period (November – March).
Parking in Calvi
The City of Calvi has two types of parking: automated car parks and on-street parking. In the latter, depending on the type of zone, a rate is applicable, every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Since 2022, several “free 20-minute stop” terminals have been installed in the city center to help smooth traffic flow and facilitate vehicle turnover.
Regarding on-street parking, several different pricing zones have been identified and the maximum authorized parking duration varies:
Orange zone – Long-term parking
- Parking du Port de Commerce
The zone is chargeable from April 1 to October 31 every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Maximum authorized duration: 12h15.
- Post-Parking package: 17 euros.
- Rate for one hour of parking: 2 euros.
Purple zone – Resident parking
- Rue Albert 1er,
- Pointe Saint François,
- citadelle and
- Avenue Marche
The zone is paying from April 1st to October 31st every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Maximum authorized duration: 3 hours.
- Post-Parking package: 17 euros.
- Price for one hour of parking: 2 euros.
Red zone – Short-term parking
- Avenue Christophe Colomb,
- Avenue de la République,
- Avenue Santa Maria (in front of the Azur residence) and
- Boulevard Wilson.
It is paid regardless of the user.
The zone is paid from April 1st to October 31st every day from 9am to 9pm.
- Maximum authorized duration: 2 hours.
- Post-Parking package: 17 euros.
- Rate for one hour of parking: 2 euros.
PINEDE ZONE
- All car parks in La Pinède.
The zone is paid from June 15th to September 15th every day from 9am to 7pm.
- Rates: 3 euros for 5 hours and 5 euros for 10 hours
- Post-Parking Package: 17 euros
Post-Parking Package can vary from one municipality to another. In Calvi, its amount is 17 euros and applies in the following two situations:
- You park your vehicle without paying
- You exceed the time for which you paid
